Costume judging starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Jackson Fire House, and the children's parade heads down Main Street at 6 p.m., ending at the Civic Center with a free hot dog party and candy bags.
There's a costume contest for preschool through eighth grade, with $25 prizes, plus an award for the best theme costume group. The Jackson Lions Club has run the parade since 1965.
