The Jackson Lions Club will host its annual Children’s Halloween Parade on Saturday, October 31, 2026, in downtown Jackson.
Halloween festivities begin at 5:30 PM with costume judging at the Jackson Fire House. Individual costume categories are open to children from preschool through 8th grade, with a $25 prize for each winning costume. Families and groups can also compete for the Best Theme Costume Group prize — one year of Republic Services residential garbage service, valued at $750. Adults are welcome to participate as part of a group costume.
The parade begins at 6 PM and travels down Main Street to the Jackson Civic Center. Following the parade, everyone is invited to enjoy free hot dogs and candy bags at the Civic Center.
Participants should meet at the Jackson Fire House, 175 Main Street in Jackson. Everyone is encouraged to dress up, and spectators are welcome to line Main Street and enjoy the parade.
