The committee will weigh in on the county's five-year trash and recycling plan, then decide whether to ask the Board of Supervisors to exempt Tuolumne County from California's SB 54 plastic packaging law for two years.
- Item 6a: Final comments on whether the 2026 Countywide Integrated Waste Management Plan holds up, and whether to send the five-year review and comments to the Board of Supervisors for final approval.
- Item 6b: Whether to send the Board of Supervisors a resolution exempting the county from SB 54, the Plastic Pollution Prevention and Packaging Producer Responsibility Act, for two years.
- Item 5: Staff report on America Recycles Day and an update on a transition plan.
